HH Restaurants

Can anyone recommend a good seafood restaurant near the Hilton Head Resort? I'm looking for something kid friendly.

We've always made it a point to go to the Sea Shack on HHI -- it's one of those places that locals frequent -- nothing fancy to look at, but awesome food. Also, Hudson's, the Crab Shack, and the Salty Dog Cafe are good, kid-friendly restaurants there.

If you want one within walking distance, Scotts is a good place - my kids loved it!

Generally speaking the restaurants in HH are quite good and family friendly.

Red Fish was awesome last time we were there. Worth the drive as I can't recall how close it is to Disney's resort; we were at a Marriott during our stay. Red Fish is fancier, but they have a sister restaurant called the Old Oyster Factory that is probably more family friendly. The third restaurant in that family is Alexander's and again it is more casual than Red Fish. Red Fish has an interesting gift shop; nice for browsing while awaiting a table. It may be a bit tempting for little hands though.

We love the Salty Dog and Fudruckers! The HH Diner is OK, pricey for what you get.
