HH January trip(what to expect?)

We are planning our first DRIVING trip to Disney World this January. (usually we fly). We plan on stopping at HH on the way home. Has anyone visited this resort in January? What can we expect? How far off of 95 is the resort? Any input is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Depending on traffic, the drive to the resort from I-95 (exit 8) will take 30-60 minutes. In January, it will be more like 30 minutes since there will be little traffic.

January weather will range from 30's - 60's with a chill in the air much of the time. The resort will still have activities planned and many island activities will be available- although some shopping and dining options may be closed for the winter months. Tourism is definitely slower at that time of the year.

However, HH is great at all times of the year, the resort will be open, point costs are very low, occupancy will be low and the pool will still be heated.
