I just booked our vacation for next April. :cool1:
The 23-28 at Hilton Head.
I've been in March and June, but not April-how is it weather wise and activity wise?
I saw in 2005 than Shannon Tanner started playing on April 16th, does he always start mid April? Crossing fingers!

HHI in April is very nice. As far as swimming, it is up to your own tolerance. The Pool is heated, the ocean is lower 60's on a good warm day. Rain will come and go, It is much nicer to sit outside and eat than in the summer time. The Wacky Wizzle tour is about the same time each year, but no Harborfest yet. The activities are about the same all year long

What's the "wacky wizzle tour"? We're interested in the answers about April because we're considering going to HH then too. We always go in March, but next year, DS is getting married then (can you imagine, he expects us to give up our trip to HH just because our oldest son is getting married?)

Okay, thanks! Sounds like I may be a little chilly-I wake up and dash for the door to the porch in June to get warm. LOL
I stay out of the villa and on the porch as much as possible-love that heat and humidity!
But the rest of my family will be very happy, though I think we'll all be skipping the oceam this time around :goodvibes

LOL! The wacky wizzle tour is a dolphin tour(but on a big boat, not the little 6 person boats like you take through the resort Dolphin tour), but the main attraction for the kids is that Shannon Tanner hangs out with you and then doea a magic show and sings for the kids.
My two loved it.
We usually leave on Fridays, but my daughter was so diappointed to miss it alst year, that we booked Friday night cash, just so we could take the kids this year.

We'll do the same this year.
