Just booked our first trip to HH for Easter 2004!

Can anyone share any experiences from Easters past?

This Easter was our first one spent at HH. We loved it sooooo much that I just rebooked for next Easter.

On Friday night, there was a campfire, as well as Sunday.

On Saturday, they had the Discovery Club in the morning for the kids, egg decorating, a puppet show and a magic show.

On Sunday at 10 a.m. was the Easter egg hunt. The kids were divided in groups and given bags and sent to the age appropriate area. There, they collected unfilled eggs so it was very pleasant that no one was rushing to collect all of the candy. There were two real eggs in each age category, one gold, one silver. I know the silver ended up being worth $10 Disney dollars. At the end of the hunt, the kids line back up at the club house and turn their eggs back in and get a wonderful gift bag full of toys and treats. Afterwards, there were balloon animals and Easter bonnet making. Disney also offers meal delivery but we opted for pizza instead :)

Also, Sunday afternoon they had two hours of games on the beach that included tug of war, potatoe sack race, etc. SO MUCH FUN!!!

My kids are 3 and 6 and they still haven't stopped talking about how much fun we had. The weather was a little chilly at night but in the upper 60's low 70's during the day.

I know you will enjoy it!!! Marley

It was warm enough to swim in the daytime and cool enough to open the balcony doors in the morning to enjoy the fresh air without worry about bug infestations. Heavenly!

Thank you! Your responses solidified my decision even more!!! My kids will be 3 and 7, and it sounds like the activities you described will be just perfect!
