Hi from Disney World my teen board friends!
Now you may be wondering about the second part of my title, but I swear I'll get to it!
Let's start off with the first part: HF (Hurricane Fay)
Luckily, Hurricane Fay did not hit Disney World but it did effect it.
There has been non-stop pouring rain, super strong and heavy winds, canceled fireworks shows, and it's bloody freezing EVERYWHERE! Inside, outside, on the rides, EVERYWHERE!
Now let's move onto the second part: (NDTGSOMF) New Definition to Getting Swept Off My Feet.
My dad and I are staying at the Boardwalk Villas.
Earlier today, we were walking on the actual boardwalk on our way home from Epcot.
Now, when there is a large deal of rain coming down, wood becomes slippery. When combined with super strong winds, it can become very dangerous.
So, we were walking along the Boardwalk in our ponchos (we were soaked) in the pouring rain. Then, comes a big huge gust of wind. As most of you know I am pretty dang tiny and light. So, here comes this big gust of wind and I was literally, swept off of my feet. My back now hurts, my head is sore, and I'm freezing.
My trip to Disney so far has been very.....wet and cold.
But the good news is the crowds are low!
