I was just wondering how all of you are feeling? I love being pregnant but would currently like to take a few weeks to just sleep. Anyone else?

hahaha SLEEP? WHAT IS THAT? ;) I have been a mom for 13 yrs....I have not had a good night sleep since before then....I did love to take naps when I was pregnant, its funny I did not need a pregnancy test either time I got pregnant.I am a early riser and never take naps but both times I was newly preggo I slept in soundly until 2 pm!! By the time I had dd4 and that happened I KNEW i was pregnant right then...I woke up and said "well time to go get a test to comfirm" lol

My DD is pregnant right now and she is due in May. She says that she has been having trouble sleeping. This morning the baby woke her up early.

She laughs at her dog, Lucy. Lucy will curl up in front of her in bed and since "Natalie" kicks alot when she first lays down, Lucy moves behind her until she knows that "Natalie" is asleep. Recently my DD was visiting and one of my cats decided to squeeze in between her and the side of the couch. After getting settled, she ended up only being there a few minutes because the baby started moving around and it was distrubing her. lol

Not pregnant anymore! DD is three months old. The first few weeks were rough but she started sleeping through the night at about three weeks. I am very lucky.

I hope all you pregnant ladies are feeling OK. Pregnancy and I don't get along so I was not feeling so great most of the time.

I'm startin to have more sleep problems, now that I'm getting bigger. My biggest issue is that I'm a back sleeper, and now I can't! I'm having to get myself used to sleeping on my side, and it's been really hard. Then, once I get comfy on my side, my daughter will wedge a fist up into my ribs (she's breech) and make it hard to breathe. Needless to say, I don't sleep much lol.

I'm currently 13 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I'm expecting our 2nd and last child. Last time I was pregnant it was 11 years ago, and it's a lot harder on my body. I'm really excited and planning on getting the new graco car seat "Mickey in the house" from Walmart. Maybe even the matching playpen and swing. It's amazing how many things have changed in the past 11 years.

Psh. My son sleeps (and has for MONTHS) better than I do.

I'm the one laying in bed at 3am with insomnia while he snores happily in his crib. :rotfl:

We'll see about this one, though...

I'm 18 weeks pg and I'm feeling ok, but exhausted. Chasing a 2/5 yr old all day is not helping I am sure ;) So excited for the little one to arrive though :)

Things are going well here. Sleeping is ok but been getting worse this last week. Up until then I was doing fine. My ODS is almost 3 and going through a sleep transition so that is actually keepingme up at night more!!

I am having a repeat C-Section on Monday at 9:30AM. I can't believe this is almost over and I'll have another baby boy in the house. It's so much different this time around than with the first one!

We aren't sure if this is the last one or not ...

ETA: I just broke out in a rash on my belly in the last two days and it's HORRIBLE. NOTHING fixes it and nothing stops the itching. I am miserable and Thanking GOD that I am having him Monday and don't have to endure another week+ of this.

It's funny, I used to not be able to take naps. Now, I HAVE to take one every day or I am a.. well, lets just say I won't be pleasant to be around. I've also noticed that my moods have become even more crazy. My poor husband :(. He suffers when I can't sleep lol.

Hey! I'm with you on the naps, as a necessity to life, thing! I'm 20 weeks pregnant and still feeling pretty good, but I am definitely slowing down. I run with the Arthritis Foundation on Saturday mornings and today it was less of a run than a.... fast walk. :lmao: But I still got in 6 miles, so I'm a happy girl! It just means that the rest of the team has to wait for me at the end!

So is 20 weeks too early to start collecting huge amounts of baby stuff? We're moving next week and I know that as soon as we're into our new house I'm not going to be able to resist buying all sorts of things! I'm trying to limit myself to one a week right now... :rotfl: I thought that choosing not to find out the gender would stop me from shopping, but it just means that I'm buying lots of stuff in orange and green.

Sarah - I am a big believer of buying stuff along the way BUT I have realized that is just an excuse to be able to buy more in general. I can't count home many "coming home" outfits I have for Ryan!! I keep adding new ones ... In my defense, my DS#1 was born in April but he was born in South Florida so everything I have is very lightweight/shorts/tshirts and we live in New Hampshire now. It's beautiful out right now but next week it will be back to the 50's so I needed some smaller 0-6 month warmer clothes.

If this is your first and you have BIG stuff to buy then heck yes ... start now. We lucked out this time, I was planning on buying a nursery set for the new baby but the day we moved into our new house in October I happened to be on Craiglist and found a kids bedroom set with new mattress for $160 in the next town. We took the moving truck to pick it up and it was perfect for DS #1's room so now the new baby has the nursery furniture

Pics of the nursery ...

Where did you get that crib? I LOVE it! I still need to pick out a crib.. I'm slacking, lol

I'm 24 weeks preggo, and I don't mind being pregnant! We tried for almost 2 years, so I am thankful for whatever the pregnancy brings...although I wish the back pain wasn't so bad. It's excruciating at times, but have been told it's normal, and to exercise(yeah right, if I can barely move how am I supposed to exercise???)
But congrats to all, and wishing healthy & happy babies for all!

Hey Ladies! Just checking in.
I am still tired and also swollen. I look like a not cute version of Angelina Jolie.:laughing:My lips are so swollen as well as everything else. At least I know I would never get collagen injections.:rotfl:
I love being pregnant. Even though I was stuck in my bed last night in one position for quite some time because I could not get any momentum to actually move:eek: I wouldn't trade it for anything. :lovestruc

Am I the only one who hasn't done anything to really get ready yet? I am due in about 3 weeks and I have nothing set up and ready to go. In my mind I want to do so much but I am so wiped out that I can't get it done. Hopefully this week will be more productive.

Where did you get that crib? I LOVE it! I still need to pick out a crib.. I'm slacking, lol

It was from BRU in 2006/2007. They discountinued it JUST after we bought ... to the point where we drove from store to store all over South Florida tracking down a decent floor model for one of the dressers!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and though I don't have morning sickness, my gag reflex has gone crazy! I am also extremely fatigued much of the day and many foods that I once loved now make me sick to my stomach....my taste and smell are both off, too, but I am told these are all normal!

Another preggo here. :goodvibes I'm almost 16 weeks. I've suprisingly been sleeping OK at night, but I didn't for the first 13-14 weeks because I was awake in the bathroom several times a night. :lmao: I wish I could nap, but DD 2.5 gave up naps a loooong time ago.

I've been buying things here and there, just keeping the receipts taped to the item because I'm either going to have to return the pink stuff or the blue stuff, lol. I just can't pass up some things!
