Hey! Tips from a CM

You obviously have a "magical" gift! It's CMs like you that make our vacations at WDW so special! Thank you!

Everyone in my life knows that even though I'm more financially stable at my current job that I haven't been as happy since leaving Disney. It wasn't an easy choice but now I vacation there as often as I can an who knows maybe I'll be back one day to make some more magic.

If we had cards made to give CMs who made a difference for us, could they use those to add to their employment file to prove they are getting compliments? i love that idea, and, we don't generally use the www on holiday. Also, some of the time, CMS have been awesome, and I have been marshalling a struggling ASD child, if I could give them something little, so they know I am grateful, that might be nice/

Unfortunately they don't get added to the file unless a manager or other CM decides to give a cast to cast compliment based on that. They definitly let the CMs know that you are thankful but it doesn't do anything for their position in the company.

Do you have any idea if Disney ever runs deals on Memory Maker? Such as, "purchase a Memory Maker and get a free ----" or "Purchase a ----- and get a free Memory Maker"? I'm trying to decide if I should purchase it now at the discounted rate or wait a little bit to see if any deals come up. My trip isn't until March.

Thanks for all the great tips! I know this is far off but it's everyone's dream...We are doing the VIP private tour during thanksgiving, do they ever let you see Cinderellas suit? Do you have any fun suggestions for things to do during the VIP tour? Thank you!

Staying for the christmas period at POR for 3 weeks, wondering what the best way for transportation is ? We are also going to US, BG, SW and DC so we want something that would allow us to get too and from without worry about the time, thanks.

Disney transport while doing Disney and either a rental car or Uber when doing other stuff.
