I'm trying to plan next January's vacation. I'm going for the $1 days on last minute travel and one of the options was a 3 bedroom grand villa at BW.

How can I already book that when it is still within the time frame for BW owners only ? There are actually quite a few DVC resorts showing up for rent on the site.

How do you know it's for BWV? I thought they didn't reveal the exact location on that site?

you can tell when you read the description of the hotel. Big River Brewing Works is a big help.... LOL !

Sorry, I don't know what "$1 days on last minute travel" means. :confused3

Lot's of dis'ers have been talking about the $1 per night special rate on lastminutetravel. It's a special promo going on at least through the end of this week and 500 people per day can get it. Details are on their website and you can check out the threads on the Budget board. People have reported getting WDW resorts for 7 nights for free ( they end up waiving the $1 per night fee) including one lucky family who got Poly lagoon view concierge. When you visit the site, you'll see what's available to reserve with clues as to the location ( the descriptions help alot) but when the $1 sale starts, some of the originally available resorts drop off and thus are no longer available for free. Each day the sale lasts only 15 minutes, and sometimes is 7.5 minutes twice vs once for 15 minutes, etc.- you have to complete your ressie w/in that time frame to get the deal. There are other locations as well- some have gotten Hawaii, NYC, Cancun, and even the all-inclusive resorts. Good luck to anyone trying.---Kathy

tiem is also split three ways at 5 minutes each. Has not been a full 15 minutes yet together.

I think the first week someone reported that early on they had the full 15 minutes- probably before the frenzy started.---Kathy

Wow, Disney is really trying to fill rooms for the rest of the year. I'm torn. I want to see rooms filled, but after this reallocation, we'll be spending more points for the same stay next year and Disney is giving villas away. Ouch.

To answer your question...it seems things got away from it! A percentage of each resort is not sold as DVC. This percentage is kept for cash reservations. This is what you are booking into.

I am in no way an expert. I do not know the percentage at the moment, but this is the concept. I am sure that someone else may give a better answer, but I believe that this is the basic explanation.

Would love to help, but I have no clue as to what you are talking about :scratchin
