Hey Pintrader (Kathryn)!!!!

From recent posts I doubt I'd call the Friday night Pin meet "mini"!!!

I agree Dom... From all that I have heard it is not mini... Can't wait to go to one finally.

as just e-mailed to me and did my eyes go :earseek: I am so very excited that this has gained the popularity that it has. I feel like a proud parent. Everyone will get to meet Donna (GotAnyPins) and Ed (RaulandPinBoy) the proud Godparents that night too as they are always there to help run and oversee things. Roy (Brer-Frog) and Janice (ReallyGoofyMom) are almost always there as well. I would say that between 30 and 40% of our regular attendees are CMs. Four of the last five weeks we have had in excess of 100 people the only one that missed the 100-peson mark was the one that had a Not So Scarry Party the same night. The Food Court on the main level stays open all night, but they close the "hot" food part by 10:00. Some of us go down there around 9:45 and keep trading at the tables down there.

We, as a group of regulars have only two requests. Number one, please keep the Golden Rule in mind. I cannot believe how many people ask me what this. So here it is: DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. Secondly, please remove all fod, beverage and other trash before leaving the fourth floor and finally, realize that this may not be the SAME Friday night pin trading experience for all of you. If there is anything that goes on that you do not feel is right you can do one of two things; walk away or hold the pin trade up in the air and say "we need help". People will come over they will try to help with their opinion, if it is asked for. You would be surprised how many bad deals fall apart when the greedy one thinks others are going to know what they are up to.

Then, I have one request for me personally. I could not get registered to go to the DIS Con when they opened up tickets and then when they re-opened I could not afford it. If anyone has a teen a spouse or someone else who does not want to use parts of their ticket could someone let me know if there is a way to arrange to share one or two portions of the DIS Con experience?
