I have used a Kodak F600 APS camera on my last two trips and have had mixed results as far as shooting the nighttime events. The highest speed film I have used is 400. Has anyone used 800 speed with an APS camera and how well did it show fireworks, etc.? Also, how good is that same film for daytime in case I don't use up my film at night?

Not really a camera expert but I have always used 400 speed. I found that it tends to "wash out" distant items but for generally closer range the shot is always bright and clear. It also translates well to nightime parades...without flash. That is just my experience.
