Day 4 Part 1

Alright where were we?

This was the day we had our crystal Palace ADR's w/ the Salz family. We met in the lobby at 10:00, after I was rudley awakened by mom, who seems to think I need to get up insanely early to be ready at a reasonable hour. We took the bus to the MK, and the dads soon split to get fastpasses for SplashM. Again we see the dangers of letting a teenager with a room card avec charging privligages loose next to the Pirates Gift Shop. DSIS12 and msalz both picked up very stylish goofy pirate hats, while DSIS10 and lsalz picked up matching pirate princess minnie ears. Despite the urging of nsalz and PD, I couldn't find a set of piratish ears that screamed "Buy me!" Now normally when in the world it is common practice for me to but a couple of useless items, which I will never use after the trip, but I was trying to be smart as I knew we were planning a trip in Sept. for free-dining and MNSSHP, and I wanted to be a NORMAL Pirate for that. As we were leaving the shop, I saw a regular wrap bandana. They now have a make your own bandanna station, similar to the make your own princess tiara stations. I prepared to put the bandana back if the price was over $10 as I suspected it would be, but upon further examination I found the price to be $7! I was thrilled, it was black with hot pink details that said Pirate Princess.
We left the store and who was there? Peter Pan and Wendy. DSISs and DCOUSINS wanted to get autographs and pictures. When it comes to the characters I only get semi excited. Is it cool? Yes. Do I enjoy standing around in the 100 degree weather so mom can take pictures? Not so much. We were finishing up with Peter and Wendy when the men came back with FPs for SplashM. We headed towards the Crystal Palace for our lunch. They were cleaning up from breakfast still, so we waited for a while.
Out of all the Pooh characters I have a soft spot for Tigger. I mean how can you not love him (major bonus, I don't dwarf him like I do to alot of the characters). So Tigger was really the only one I cared about meeting. I'm a very picky eater, so I love the kids food at the Character Buffets. I had a couple Chicken Tenders, some Mac and Cheese, some grapes, and two pickles be fore I went on to dessert. I love making my own ice cream.
After our delicious meal, we headed towards Splash. It was a welcome relief to be able to talk about the ride on the ride without having to worry I was giving things away to first timers (although i have been known to scare a few teens into thinking the big drop was coming up at slippin falls.) The picture came out awesome, and we got it. WE met up with DSIS12 and lsalz, who had elected to stay off, as they hate the ride.

This TR is great! Ya'll are a crazy bunch.

I'm supposed to be working right now, instead of reading TRs, but I'm leaving tomorrow night and who can work when you know you'll be in the World in less than 48 hrs.

And I'm one of the old people so I guess I'll have to take detailed notes every day so I can remember half of what we do!!
