Hey Lisa, ya heard anything about DISMAIL yet?

I do want to nag. I do need some information from an e-mail that I got the other day.
 
I didn't get a definitive answer today, other than the fact that lots of people are having trouble with their mail accounts.

I just sent Alex a pm about it. Of course, since he's single-handedly responsible for getting the boards running again, he may be sleeping until Monday. :)

unhappy that I have lost my entire inbox plus 4 days of incoming mail.
 
I got a pm from Alex. He said he's on a business trip and won't be able to deal with it until Monday. Sorry guys.
 
And since we changed out e-mail addresses, any purchases we may have made through the points programs that had not yet been posted will not be credited - the e-mail addresses have to match perfectly. I figure I lost about 250 points from purchases I made over the weekend. I didn't have any certificates coming... THAT would be bad.

Well, I know what you mean, Teri. I'm hoping that when they eventually get around to getting our "iluvdisney" addresses back up, and our inboxes back, that the $25 SuperCertificate will be there....as well as a bunch of bonus mail. I did change out all my email addresses at all the programs because I didn't want to take the chance of loosing even more bonus mail. I also went through that Veripost place thats on Blink (for 600 points) so they'd redirect any mail to my new address but it doens't start doing it until the 21st. The only things I'm actually waiting on through email is $5 webbie from Blink & the $25 SC from Milesource. I changed my email address at Webcertificate.com too. I don't know if that will help or not.

I guess we'll just have to wait & see what happens when DISMAIL comes back up. I'm really worried about those inboxes. If they come up empty, I'll have to contact Milesource to see if they'd sent it or not. You know what a pain that'll be.
 
I know Alex has this on his list to fix. In the meantime, I was wondering if you two have your account set to automatically forward your mail to another email address? If not, can you get to the screen to do that? I know it's a long shot, but it might be worth a try.

BTW, can you give me a link to the DIS mail. I lost mine when my computer crashed.
 
After I posted my email question, *sigh*, I read this post. I have tried to use the forwarding button, but it doesn't work. Oh, dear. Oh d-d-d-dear. (My best worried Piglet voice!)
 
She had a bunch of emails from grandparents, friends, etc stored in her inbox and they are gone. This was the only free email we had found that was safe from spam, etc. She is getting antsy about this. I keep teling her that it will be fixed, she has to be patient. '

Luckily my disneyfan email is not my primary.

Any further ideas on when it might be working again so I can calm the kid?
