Beth, what are you looking for? What do you want your lipstick to do?
Normally, gloss will make any lipstick disappear pretty fast. Like someone else said, one of the colorlast, or such would be your best bet for longivity.
I haven't tried the newer one.
But what I do when I need it to stay longer than normal and I don't like the dry looks. I use a pencil and line and fill in with it. Then lipstick, blot and cover again. I don't know why that works, but it does. Then the gloss.
But I haven't found a pencil other than a reddish color that I like much. So, I just reapply the lipstick.
Lancome owns L'Oreal and Maybelline too now, so the formulas aren't that much different.
I'm always looking for the right texture, color and such, so I tend not to spend a lot of money on lipstick. Jane and Wet and Wild are cheap and good.
