Hey! I have a question about Halloween party and Mine train!

If the fast pass for the Mine Train is going to be hard to get....do you think I can rest easy knowing we will be able to ride it at the Halloween party without huge waits?
We plan to go on rides during the first half of the party while everyone is meeting characters, the parade, etc.
We'll watch the second parade.

Ease my troubled mind please.

Try for a Fp+ between 4-7 on your party day. Because regular guests are in the park until 7:00, that means as long as they are in line for 7DMT before 7:00, they'll be allowed to wait to ride it - keeping the standby line long when the party begins. You also have to factor in 24,000 or so party guests with many having the same plan as you.

I don't know how easy you will be able to rest. It's all going to depend on what night you go. If your night sells out, it could really be a crap shoot.

I'm pretty sure it will be busy all the time for the rest of the year and beyond once it finally does open.

It's funny, everything I've researched said that the rides during the party are pretty easy to get on because most people are meeting the characters and stuff. I'll just ride all the other rides while everyone is waiting for Mine Train. Not gonna be upset over a 60 or so second ride!

I would love to be on Thunder Mountain Railroad during Hallowishes (sp?) or maybe Astro Orbiter.

Usually the rides are easier to get on, as everyone is stuck in the line to forever for the photopass ops, and you are correct in that the 2nd parade is less crowded than the first, but I think the Mine Train will be absolutely mobbed, all party, every party.

That said, maybe this year I can FINALLY meet Maleficent, if everyone is in line for the Mine Train. Every year I am cut off in line, with just a few people ahead of me.

A CM will be at the ride entrance beginning at 7:00 to make sure only wristband-wearing party guests enter the line. Anyone who got in line before 7:00 is allowed to remain in line. The same thing occurs during regular park closing... as long as you are in line, you are allowed to ride,

You can enter MK as early as 3:45 with your party ticket. You can ride some non-busy rides or schedule Fp+ from between 4-7.
