My husband is wanting to get a new lanyard for work on our next WDW trip. Does anyone know where we can find some? He doesn't want to use the pin trading one because the strap is so stiff and thick. Anyone know where we can find others?

I got a purple one - with the green frog - that says Rainforest Cafe (in yellow) - from the store outside the DTD Rainforest Cafe resturant.

It is a lot thinner - and it has held up for over 6 months.

I got the rainforest cafe one to in downtown but mine is blue w/yellow letters w/the frog only 3.99

Thanks for all the help, but he'd rather have something besides the RC.

What is a lanyard used for? I keep reading messages about them, and I've seen photos of them on several sites, but I don't get it. Seriously.

I would never call you dumb! Good question....a lanyard is a strap you wear around your neck that hangs down. In the real world many people use them for work where they need to carry an ID badge it hangs from a clip in usually a clear plastic pouch at the end of a lanyard.

At Disney many people wear the strap to attach different Disney pins to it for trading or just display. People also will keep tickets/room card in a plastic pouch that they can hang off the end of the lanyard.

Hope this helps. :flower:
