Hey Good Lookin', Whatcha' got cookin'?

This cold is kicking my butt so I willlet the kids make tacos and refried beans.
Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow because I have a whole turkey to cook

Grocery shopping isn't happening till Friday, so trying to use what we have in the cupboards. so, I will be frying ground beef with onions, and garlic, and then adding it to two boxes of cooked mac and cheese, throw in a large can of stewed tomatoes, and some shredded cheese, and serve with rolls. The kids LOVE this and it really goes far.

Tuesdays we have potluck with our Bible study, so we're bringing pork fried rice (trying to use up leftover pork roast and rice). Who knows what else we'll have for dinner, but I'm guessing veggies will be in short supply - our group is notorious for failing to have any veggies for potluck and instead having a big starch fest!

I am making chicken cacciatore hamburgers on portobello buns :)

pork chops in gravy and baked potatos

ah crap...that reminds me...we are out of "leftovers". I have to cook!

ummm..hmmm...what to I have on hand....uh.....

I know! Frozen pizza, salad, and garlic bread. We've got brownies for desert. That'll work!

20lb turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn and rolls. All this while I've spent the whole day packing(we are moving out Sat.-closing on Mon.), I have also done laundry and cleaned my floors. :faint: I did have my little brothers help with the laundry, he folded it all(3 loads) and I just had to seperate it and put it away. DH asked me to cook a turkey tonight we invited over a couple of people and then we got the call that we'd be closing on Mon. I'll be sleeping good tonight. :woohoo:

PS. My sister bought some kind of pie/cake from Publix with HUGE strawberries on top.

...and I cheated with the mashed potatoes, they're Country Crock...which are actually so good that I refuse to waste my time peeling and mashing potatoes when I could be DISing instead. :lmao:

Even worse we have a spanish congragation and so we have a lot of rice, beans and flan. :scared1: I hate flan. :rolleyes1 So we have us english speaking bring lots of pasta, mostly in the form of Mac n cheese and then they bring the 3 above mentioned foods....I'm always tempted to bring a pan of what I bring and leave it on our table. :lmao:
