Hi, everyone! I've been lurking for awhile but finally made my first post yesterday. We're checking into the Poly on 11/25 for our last big family trip before our oldest heads off to college (I can barely think about that... ), but we've gone four times since 2003 (and I went a few times as a kid in FL).

I'm really excited for this trip. We've had an extremely trying, hard year, so we need this escape more than I can say.

Any other Tennesseans out there? I've also lived in FL, MA, and am originally from WV, so "hey!" to ya'll, too!

I am from KY, but we lived in Murfreesboro for a couple of years and are now in Birmingham, AL!

I can empathize with you as we have a junior in High School this year-we are
also getting in as much family time as possible.

I, too, am an original WV native (Parkersburg) but now live in VA and have for the past 31 years.

We are also going to do a graduation WDW vacation in August '08, right before he leaves for college. We will be staying at the Poly for 4 days and then cruising on the DCL Wonder for 3.

pixiemel, I actually went to high school in Murfreesboro. It's changed SO much since I lived there.

It was such a nice, small town when we lived there (in 1988-90) I'm sure it has grown!!

I, too, am an original WV native (Parkersburg) but now live in VA and have for the past 31 years.

I went to Parkersburg plenty of times as a kid-- my dad grew up there and my grandpa lived there almost his whole life. I'm actually from the other end of the state- Huntington, and still go back about once a year.
