Hey all you veil wearers!

So, I have time for this, but of course, I'm obsessing about it now....

without having to scroll through everyone's TR's...I can't remember if most of you wear your veils during the dinner or reception and what about if you have a DP? I'm thinking no for the DP, but doesn't it look better in pictures?
I'm thinking I want to only wear the veil for the ceremony? I'm not sure...let me know what you did/will do/think is best etc...

ceremony only...actually i didnt want to wear one at all...but my mother insisted and this was the only thing i gave into (it was her veil)....the thing was huge and i really didnt know how to walk in it....but i ended up liking how it looked in the pictures

I wore mine for the ceremony and reception.

I did not wear it for our Dessert Party.

I wore it the next morning for our MK Shoot.

I also wore an indian head dress during YMCA .

I wore my veil until after my dance with my father. I wore a cathedral, so it was very long. This was right before I took it off:

I wore mine through the ceremony and until we sat down for dinner at the reception. It was just a birdcage veil though....pretty simple

with the veil (i wore it flipped over my face coming up the aisle)

first dance, still on

then here i had taken it off...

I wasn't interested in a veil, but mom and others talked me into it. I liked the look, but it kept catching on one of the stones on the back of my dress I took it off as soon as our cake cutting was over. I left the tiara on

I wore a cathedral length veil and I swore I was going to keep it on the whole time... yeah, right. As soon as I got to the reception I took it off. It was hand beaded and SO heavy. I had no idea it would be so heavy, it was veru hard to walk in because of the beading etc.

Yes Lynn, that is the same veil. I had emailed you before my wedding asking where you got it and which one it was. I had gotten another veil earlier (two tier) but just did not like it as much so I ordered the same one you did (hope you do not mind). I got it from advantagebridal also. I just loved it and loved the way the scalloped edged matched the sweetheart neckline.

I wore mine all day -- from 5:00am when my hair was done until 8:00pm that night when we got back to our room. It was only to my elbows and really light so it didn't bother me at all.
