So we are needing to go back, it's been a long time since I was last on dis boards, I've missed you all! But a lot has changed since I was last on here we have moved house, had our very first baby, and I'm soon to return to work! Time has never gone so quickly....

Anyhow we are looking to go next year, so a long way off but you can never start planning too early for a Disney World vacation :-) we want to go before our baby boy turns 2 on July 4th 2016 mainly so that we don't have to pay an arm & a leg for him when he is so young still!

We love the heat of August that's when we always go, but having a baby with us we would rather go when it's hot but not the unbearable heat that August can be, so when is the cheapest time to go between April and our little guys birthday?

At the moment we are looking at pricing really and that's it, are pretty open as to where we would stay, we are happy to stay in pop century or AOA, but equally we would stay at a moderate resort or we would love animal kingdom lodge (my fiancés dream is Polynesian resort however I think that's out of out league for spending haha)

We would also like the dining plan this time round :-)

Oh and one last thing (we are not bothered about crowds) we would love to go out their the week before Toby's 2nd birthday and stay for 2 weeks so he gets to celebrate his birthday out there, especially beings it'll be the 4th July celebrations, I'm aware it's an extremely busy time but to be honest we just want to go at slow pace and take it all in we are not fussed what rides we do etc, we just want to have a relaxing time, normally its 3 adults no children and we aim to squeeze in as much as possible, this time we are in no way fussed about what we do as long as we enjoy & appreciate every minute we spend at Walt Disney world :-) so my question is if we were to go the week before Toby's birthday so we can celebrate it out there, would we have to pay for a seat on the plan for him to fly home or pay extra for the 2nd week once he is 2?

Hope you can help me :-) I know this is the best place to come for advice :-)

If I had a choice of times to go it would be early May. Lowish crowds weather is still nice and hot but not humid like August and Epcot looks at its best with Flower & Garden.

If you flew out before your DS turned 2 and flew back once he was 2 you would need to buy a seat for the return journey. TBH having travelled to FL with DD since she was 9 months I would be looking to book a seat for him at that age anyway - DD had a seat from 15 months and it was a godsend!

A cheaper option to get him a seat is on virgin you can get seat plus and get an extra seat for him rather than paying the child fare.

I know you are not worried about doing a lot but the crowds over 4th July will be miserable if you are trying to navigate with a stroller - its just so busy!
