He's alive and we are going to Disney

In just 11 days 6 hours and 6 minutes we are going on our trip to Disney
The cast
Me JennyMom 37.. Disney freak ..My sister and nice call me the DisneyW****(starts with a w ends with and e and means)
Ed 41, aortic Dissection Survivor. He had an Aortic Dissection, emergency open heart surgery followed by compartment sysndrome( which caused him to have his leg slices open, required 3 follow up surgeries and now has a skin graft , brace and no movement or feeling below the knee) Kidney failure, GI bleeds, Pulminary Embolism, brain bleed and probably some other stuff I forgot. He was in the Hospital for 9 weeks and is still recovering.. He's alive and we are going to Disney even if he ends up in a wheelchair.
Jeremy DS 12, and boy does he need a vacation.. This kid has had a rough year, what with his dad nearly dying

The place BWI/ SSR July 13th-17th

I have lots of ADR's including 50's PT cafe, Raglan Road, California Grill and Narcoosees.
I have Body Glide, Misty Mates, moleskin, suntan lotion etc.
I have my suitcases out ..Right now they are little more than cat beds, but at least they have their luggage tags.. We are going to tour DVC while we are there. Will we become owners? Stay tuned.

We have been to the BW area many times and even into BWI but we have never stayed there.. They had some good AP rates, so that's what we are trying.. After this trip the only deluxe/ mod resorts we have never been to will be the YC and CBR

Now I just need to figure out how to get all of the cat hair off of my suitcase.
Once again I wen ton my pretrip *diet*.. I'm always going to lose that pesky 15 pounds before my trip....I never do.. Why o I even try.. It's summer. Like I can resist chips and dip, ice cream and Rita's...I must be crazy

I'm not really big on clows.. some of them are pretty scary.. IT comes to mind. I think the Jesters at POFQ are scarier.. I'm down to 9 days now.. Ed and Jer went to the doctor, Ed for Pain meds, Jeremy for ADHD meds.. We got new sandals for all..
Now I just need to figure out how to get the cat hair off of the suitcases

I actually started putting stuff in the suitcase today. Yippee.. We are putting half of our clothes in one suitcase and half in another, that way if one gets lost we still have clothes... Delta lost our friends luggage on the way to Disney in Dec.
I just realized that we can probably preboard our flight as Ed has to have an aisle seat..I bet security will be really high do to the terrorists plots

I learned this phrase from a Hasidic Rabbi.. It means "serve G-d with Joy"

How exciting to be able to start packing! DH thought I was nuts for wanted to start packing the things that I have purchased, but doesn't think that putting all in a rubbermaid container is at all strange .

I woke up this morning thinking I only had 4 days to go, then I looked at the Disney chain that hangs from my wall and it had 5 links.. Oh well...5 days is better than 10 or 20 right? I've got all the bills paid. the suitcases are half packed.. Now I just have to get my house really clean. I can't stand to come home to a messy house after vacation.
