Hertz rental was very fast

I just returned from MCO and once again we used Hertz. We sat on the shuttle for about a minute and we were at our car in 5 mins.

We signed up ahead of time for Gold service but they also offer an express service so you can be out of the parking lot in no time.

So for those that think that the only way to go is onsite Hertz worked very well for us. The cost was better than National also.

I love Hertz! Last time in Orlando, we rented a compact (also with #1 club gold) and got a fullsize (Mitsubishi). The rates are usually pretty good - especially with an AAA discount, and the service is amazing (just hop on the shuttle - your name is displayed at the lot with a space number. Your contract and the keys are inside the car, along with a map and Orlando driving tips.)!

TIP: #1 club gold service is usually $50 per year, but it is FREE for Costco Executive members!!

We have used Hertz also, the fact tht they are off site and not in the airport is good for us since airport traffic can be horrible and not on familiar roads.
