Okay, I got car rental thru priceline for hertz for July. I received a email from priceline and hertz. But when I go on hertz website and put in confirmation number, I get a error? Am I doing something wrong?
I'm not positive, but I think that it's because your reservation number is a Priceline Reservation number, not a Hertz reservation number. I'm pretty sure it works that way anytime you buy travel reservations from a third party vendor.
When you book through a travel agent, they own the reservation, any changes must go through them (Note: you cannot change a blind bid reservation from Priceline/Hotwire).
Also, in case you are wondering, you are ineligible to use any reward perks from Hertz (ie. Hertz Gold service, free driver with CDP codes, etc.) with your booking through Priceline.
That's fine. I was just doublechecking all my reservations and noticed that this one had left out a letter in my dh's first name. And I didn't know if that would be a problem when we go to pickup car.
