We have booked a one-day rental with Hertz. I thought they were at Downtown Disney, but it turns out they are off site. But they will pick us up and deliver us back again.

Has anyone else used Hertz for a one-day rental? Is this better, or should we go with National or Alamo that have an office in Downtown Disney (is that DTD?).

Thanks for your help.

I don't think that Alamo or National have an office at DD, they do have one at the Car Care Center and the Dolphin, neither of which is very close to DD.

Car we rented in GA had steering problems. Hertz expected us to interrupt our vacation and find a Hertz in Orlando then sit around and wait until they got us another car. They should bring the replacement car to us and take back the bad car. Who wants to spend any vacation time sitting in their office due to they bad car?:sad2:

There is an Alamo over at the Buena Vista Resort. Right across the street from DD. The lady working there told us that you can return the Alamo car to any of the Orlando locations which actually worked out quite nice.
