Hertz, is less hassle but more expensive

I have rented from Hertz in the past and found it to be easy so I would like to do it again at the end of Oct for 12 days. Hertz is quoting me $592 for an economy car. Is there anything I can do to bring that price down.

Hertz tends to be more pricey. I use Alamo. I google Alamo coupon codes find one that fits my rental period and use it. I either do online check in or check in at the kiosk. Print my doc's. When I arrive head out pick out the car I want to drive. Drive to the exit hand over my CC and DL and I am on my way.

Rented for a week in Sept and spend $78 for a mid size Alamo rental! I check my rental everyday for a better deal and happened to score and big one a week before we left.

Do you have AAA or a BJ's membership? We booked a 10 day rental from Hertz through AAA and we're only paying $250
