Hertz car hire at Sanford

Hi all

Ive posted a question on this subject before but now have my rental car booked so I would like to know more specific info if possible.
I have booked a car with Choice air (£252 all inclusive for 2 weeks,Economy 2dr) , it is with Hertz at Sanford and it says on their web site you need a credit card as a deposit , as I don't have a credit card (only a solo debit card) I was wondering has anyone used either Hertz at Sanford or Choice air for their car hire and not had to leave a card imprint .They say its either a card or cash deposit so I would love to know how I stand before I go .

Hi Kevin - I suspect that most people use CCs so don't know the answer to this - I would definitely contact Hertz to find out- can you e-mail them from their website?

I suggest you contact them and ask because in their website it says they do accept Visa debit cards but only for payment at the end of the rental when you return the car, you must still have a CC to pick up the car.
If you are going to leave a cash deposit , then they will tell you how much you should leave, do this before your trip so you don't find any surprises. Good luck.
