Hertz at Sanford

We usually rent with Alamo when we fly into Sanford. As of now I have a full size reserved arriving 5/30 and returning 6/6. The price is $476.50. I know prices are high and I was able to use the Annual Passholder coupon towards the price. I received a coupon for Hertz through carsavers.com. I was able to get a full size with Hertz through car rental savers for 343.68. If anyone has rented through them what has your experiences been?

Have you tried booking directly through Hertz, by copying and pasting the coupon to the Hertz booking engine and reserving with Hertz, not thru car savers.com?

Do you mean https://carrentalsavers.com ? I've used them multiple times with no issues. Just do a search on the boards - they have been around forever.

Yes it was carrentalsavers.com. I have always gotten emails from them but never took advantage because of the coupons and codes people always shared. Now the coupons, codes and cars are very limited. Can you pick your own car out in the lot with Hertz like you can with Alamo? I was reading some horror stories about Hertz renting stolen vehicles. (not sure how true these stories were)

Hertz do have ultimate choice at some locations, where you pick you own car. Don't know about Sanford though, even if they do assign a car you can ask to change it. Hertz were not renting stolen cars, I believe they accidentally reported a few cars stolen that weren't due to a computer error. I'm sure they have fixed it by now.
