Hersheypark

DH took DD and I to Hersheypark on Wednesday. I rode my first suspended coaster- Great Bear. Other than RNR I have never gone on any coaster with inversions. Care to read about our day? I've posted a trip report on ThrillNetwork.

Thats a great coaster. My DH loved it! I, like you, used to be really afraid of suspended coasters.

I then rode Talon, at Dorney Park. Then Dueling Dragons at IOA. Then other ones.

Just realize its now one of many.


If it helps, my eight year olds favorite coasters are suspended. He makes me nervous when he raises he hands on those little seats... I know he can't but it feels like he will fall through.

DD is more daring than I. She rode Talon, alone, this spring, and will ride Lazer at DP. I expect to ride Talon next time we go to DP, but it's rumored that our company picnic is canceled this year. We usually go in September. I really wanted to ride Great Bear again, but never brought up the idea. DH would have thought I had gone insane.
