Hershey Half

Those of you who did the Hershey Half last year, where did you stay? I am considering purchasing the half marathon package that they offer at the Hershey Lodge (starts at $314), but am wondering if there are hotels in the area that are cheaper, but still nice.

And has anyone stayed at the lodge and is it worth the money? The $314 would also include my registration, transportation and packet delivered to my room. Thanks.

Last year we stayed at Econolodge. Nothing special, but it had an indoor pool and while I had to drive to the starting line, they could walk to cheer me on during the race.

This year we are staying at the Quality Inn. Both are a lot cheaper than the Hershey hotels, but there is no transportation to the start.
