10/19 Pecos Bill's lunch-----B-
The usual fast food, but my burger tasted kind of funny. Kids hated the fries.
Hoop-De-Doo Revue-------A
Food was very tastey. Chicken was tender and moist, ribs were also juicy with a good sauce, bread was excellent, beans were good, noone liked the corn, strawberry shortcake was very sweet but good. The best part, of course, was the show. Our table was right next to the stage and we were all belly laughing the whole night-even my 5 y/o. These performers really work an audience!! Now I can see why it sells out so quickly.
10/20 Tepinyaki lunch------A
This was another kid favorite. We used lunch vouchers here so we went all out. DH and I each had scallop appetizer and tenderloin/lobster combo. He had chesnut cake and I had ginger ice cream. The kids all had chicken. Our chef was fairly animated and very skilled. Food was perfectly cooked with wonderful sauces. Definately will go back!
Concourse Steakhouse dinner-----C+ We originally planned LeCellier, but could not keep the kids happy all day at Epcot, so we came back to the hotel to avoid meltdowns. We decide to eat at Concourse because fireworks were early this night and we wanted to catch them from our room. This was a convenience choice and I'm really kicking myself. The food was O.K. here, but service was terrible. The steak was not the best I've had and not the worst. The waiter brought out the kids' meal with our soup, so they were done before we even got our meals. Of course they were very antsy, forcing us to hurry through our dinner. We planned to go here for brkfst. on our last day, but DH refused to go back.
10/21 Sci-fi lunch-----------B+
Once again, kids loved it. Dh and I also enjoyed it. Kids all had burgers and sundaes. Dh had Burger, I had a reuben and a choc.shake. The food was all very good, we especially like the fries and ice cream. Would love to go again. We had 11:15 PS and they were already turning people away until 3:00.
House of Blues dinner-------------A
This was kind of a surprise for us. Dh really wanted to try it, so we decide last minute to do DTD this night. This restaurant is quite fun, though I didn't see too many other kids around. The kids had pizza and burgers. I had the Filet with goat cheese and a great sauce, with mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus. DH had Jambalaya and vooodoo shrimp appetizer. Food was all superb, probably the best steak I've had in a while and DH loved the Jambalaya. I'm just sorry I didn't have room for key lime pie.
10/22 1900 Park Fair brkfst.------B
This was a very nice buffet, but we had PS for 10:40 and I think the characters were a little rushed. Mary Poppins and Mad Hatter were great, but I think Belle was very rushed and short with us. Pooh and Eyore were not as fun as CP. Dh loved the omelette station and the food was OK in general. Probably won't do again.
Ray's Cosmic Cafe (is that the name?) lunch--B
We had some Q&C vouchers to use up so we decided on this place last minute. Kids and I had the huge hotdogs and DH had a burger. The food was better here than Pecos Bill's and they had Dove bars for dessert-you can't beat that.
