My group is Me (35), DH 39, My Mum (57), DD 4 & DD 1.5 (!)

I'm thinking of booking the Crystal Palace lunch as although eldest is a bit old for Pooh et al, I think it's the best compromise as Cindy's breakfast is going to be too overwhelming for little 'un.
Is there anything else Princess based that maybe I can do just with my four year old whilst the others busy themselves? Isn't there a tea party thing?

Fantasmic dinner at Mama Melroses

Probably pre book a Rainforest cafe lunch at AK

Has anybody done Playhouse Disney's Play 'N Dine at Hollywood and Vine, if so which characters are there and was the food any good (heard bad reports about H&V lately).

Will probably book Fulton's for me and DH -

Any comments and suggestions welcome :thumbsup2

I think the Grand Floridian have a Princess Tea Party but it's pricey at something like $200 per child. You get a doll included I think as well as the tea party.

You can go for tea at the grand floridian, not the tea party so not as pricey, but very memorable There is bibbidy bobbidty botouque at DTD that would be great for a 4 year old.

If you want a pricess meal you could always do the one at Norway, Aukerhouse, not as intense and also not as expensive.

The poor reviews of H&V have been dinner, the lunch and breakfast seem to be getting more positive reviews.

1900 park fayre has Cinders, prince charming, Fairt God mother and the 2 mice, suzy and Perla. Very reasonable price for meal and the character interaction and photo ops are very good. 1900 PF is in the Grand Floridian by the way, which is stunning and is approx $25 per adult.

If you want more info pm me, happy to help out :thumbsup2

Thanks for the Aukerhouse info, didn't know that one (looking it up on PS calc as we speak). And for the reminder about the bibbidy - had forgotton.

Some other free princessy things to do would be to see Storytime with Belle in the Magic Kingdom, to the right of the castle in the little walled garden, very sweet and they all get to meet Belle afterwards. You could also go to Toontown and queue up to meet them in the Princess room. Last month I saw Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella in there, although the queues can be crazy. Oh yeah, check out Ariel's Grotto in the back of Fantasyland for a meet with her, plenty of pop fountains for the kids to cool off while you stand in line

I recommend Akershaus in Norway for the breakfast, I really liked the food and interaction and on the morning we went I saw Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White, Jasmine and Mulan! This was before Ariel came on board and I heard she is always there now.

The little girls coming out of the boutique were absolutely gorgeous and it looked like a real treat for them, they are made to feel really special, so give it a try if you can get a booking.

Have fun,

Forgot to add that Playhouse Disney characters at Hollywood and Vine are Quincey/ Leo and June from Little Einsteins, and Jo Jo and Goliath. I have read good stuff about the meal. If you didn't want to pay these characters are available for free on Mickey Avenue for meet and greet at the Studios. :thumbsup2

You guys have been so helfull - love talking to you vets!!!

milk and mickey mouse cookies all round...

Another vote for 1900 Park Fare - the restaurant is very pretty, and the food is good. Plus you get to escape the park for a while and look round the Grand Floridian, which is gorgeous. We didn't rate Crystal Palace last time we were there for lunch - it seemed to have gone downhill, aside from the desserts.

I would also recommend the princess makeovers at the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo boutique in Downtown Disney for your little one. You need to call in advance, but you'd probably be ok reserving after you arrive in Walt Disney World.

The food at Hollywood and Vine has never been great. We love the sci-fi instead - for the fun atmosphere.

Fulton's Crab house is an excellent choice for you and DH. The Dungeoness Crab cakes are to die for.

Definitely do Rainforest at AK - it is so much better than the Downtown Disney one - you would not think it was part of the same chain.

Have you thought about Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary for breakfast or dinner? We go there every trip for the fun atmosphere. We find the best time to do it is on a morning when the Magic Kingdom has early entry. We reserve the last seating at Chef Mickey's and take a break from the park.
