Hoping someone can help here:
My sister and family are going to WDW in October. A CM friend got them booked at a deluxe resort using CM's discount, but says they cannot get Dining Plan with this discount. Can my sister get a MYW Plus Dining pass through Disney or AAA that is not attached to a resort reservation?

To my understanding you can not just buy a MYW dining pass. The MYW dining is a plan connected to a reservation and must be booked with the reservation as a package. HTH, maybe someone else will have more info for you.

Yea, that's what I was afraid of. She was so excited about the Dining plan. Maybe she should look into a Disney Dining discount card (does it still exist?)

There is a dining card for AP holders.

don't know if this helps, but WDW is offering free dining plan with 3 nites in a WDW resort. Maybe she could qualify for that despite the CM discount ?

There is a dining card for AP holders.

It is also still available for Fla residents without AP requirement.

The MYW dining plan has to be purchased through a package. (Room, tickets for each guest and dining) The most you can hope for is to buy through AAA, with one of their packages. But guests who get the MYW dining pay rack rates for rooms.
DDE is for FL residents and AP holders, as mentioned.

Guests who get the magic your way plus dining through AAA DO get the discount on their rooms. The only time they don't get the discount is if the dining is FREE.

i figured there was a catch...so to get free dining you are paying 88 for value off season?? anyone know what the present ap rate for value is ( wondering which is better ) Only good thing is it makes me feel bette raboutn missing the free dining deal
