Dinners
Kona
Chef Mickeys-VERY busy...we were not real impressed with this one, but many are!
Le Cellier-This is always a MUST for us! That mushroom filet is incredible...DH ordered something else b/c it was bigger than the filet, but he wished he'd ordered filet after tasting mine.

Turf Club
Mama Melrose (fantasmic Pkg)

CRT-Wonderful experience! There's nothing like dining in the castle of the happiest place on earth. We love the b/fast here!
Cape May

We didn't enjoy 1900 Park Fare at all. My FIL who likes prime rib did declare that it was "excellent" but for those of us who don't enjoy it, we found little that was edible. The mashed potatoes were like glue, mac and cheese was very runny and bland, pasta bolognese was just disgusting. The broccoli was good though as were the gummy bears. Even the cheesecake wasn't good, it tasted like they forgot the sugar.

MickyNicki has a review in her latest trip report with pretty much the same findings.

The characters are great, but not worth the price imo.

We really liked Mama Melrose despite bad reviews.

Have fun and enjoy!

Lunch
Sci Fi Dine In haven't done in years...hoping to go back this year if we can get in

Breakfast
CRT boys would never be caught dead eating in a castle--so we've never done
Cape Maywe did this last year and enjoyed it...we prefer Crystal Palace for the puffed french toast and characters, but Cape May was very good too

Here you go!

See my feedback below - hope it helps... :)

Dinners
Kona
Chef Mickeys - this is a must simply for character fun time- twirl your napkin and enjoy feeling like a kid again!Le Cellier - we did lunch and loved every thing
1900 Park Fare I liked the mash potatos, but I had been on a potato ban for some time, anything potatos would have tasted good, we wanted to meet Lady Tremiane and I think we were star struck, I didn't know what to say to her
Turf Club
Mama Melrose (fantasmic Pkg)

Lunch
Sci Fi Dine In - prefer 50's prime time

Breakfast
CRT
Cape May- Loved this, breakfast you can't go wrong, I could stay at the BC all day, the smell, the sights, relaxing, Minnie was darling and Goofy was Goofy! They cae around to our tables many times

How about Boma's in AKL for Dinner. This is one place we always hit when we are on property. Have you tried this?

I was never a fan of MaMa Melrose until I discovered the penne ala vodka-yummy:thumbsup2

Lecellier has wonderful food, however I feel that the quality of meat hasn't been the same this last year or so-maybe we had a couple of off nights. However, Yachtsman Steak House (YC) has teriffic steaks and another place we love.

Last time we ate at Cape May I felt like they scaled back on the amount of items offered as compared to the previous time. Overall still a great choice.

kona cafe is sooo underrated! we LOVED IT! try the tuna, save room for dessert!

Dinners
Kona Fabulous teriyaki steak, very good prime rib. Desserts - banana creme brulee is outstanding (thick chocolate fudge layer on the bottom --oooh, yummy!)

Chef Mickeys -only been for breakfasts, good character interaction. Noisy

Le Cellier-mushroom filet outstanding; get an order of cheese soup for an app & use it as "dip" for your bread sticks. Maple creme brulee wonderful, as is the chocolate "moose" mousse

1900 Park Fare - was here years ago, we liked it

Turf Club never been

Mama Melrose (fantasmic Pkg) our favorite on the F! packages. The pork loin was outstanding, hubby had the italian sausage & pasta-loved it. We had the calimari/veggies for app-was wonderful (and huge plateful) tirimisu very good, hazlenut cheesecake very good for desserts.

Lunch
Sci Fi Dine In never been

Breakfast
CRT only been here for dinner, awesome to eat in the castle & great picture with Cinderella before the meal
Cape May only been here for dinner, liked it

You have chosen some of our favorites...hope you enjoy them as much as we did! Have a great vacation.

Dinners
Kona - One of my personal favs! I try to get that in almost every trip.
Chef Mickeys - I can do without this one, but my brother (12 y/o) loves it. Of course I'm also not a big fan of character meals anymore.
Le Cellier - Haven't eaten here in awhile but I remember it was rather dark inside and be prepared to wait awhile once you check in even with the ADR.
1900 Park Fare - Too noisy for me for only standard fare.
Turf Club - This is the one at SSR or the golf courses?
Mama Melrose (fantasmic Pkg) - One of those take it or leave it restaurants for me. I'm going for Easter weekend.

Lunch
Sci Fi Dine In - Depending on how many people in your party remember that there are two rows in a 'car' and each one comfortably seats 2 adults. Otherwise pretty good, I like their shakes.

Breakfast
CRT - Haven't been there in almost 10 years, and then it was for dinner :confused3
Cape May - Another must do for us, but for dinner. Since I stay with my parents' DVC points I rarely ever eat breakfast anywhere but the room anymore.
