Hereby Rescinding Reccommendation

of the Concourse Steakhouse, especially the Sticky Mickey. Once upon a time there was a fantastic cinnamon roll concoction brought out before your breakfast...it is no more. Well, technically it's still there, but you have to order it for $2.99 and it tastes terrible. Instead of the old sticky, gooey goodness its more like a hunk of wheat bread with a canned sheet of icing on top.

I was actually feeling a bit jealous of the crowds waiting to get into Chef Mickey's. Yes, it was that bad.

Oh well, another plus point down the tubes for disney...

I'm glad I am not the only one who thinks that a sticky mickey is terrible. I heard rave reviews about them. We ordered them and thought "this is what people think is good." We were very disappointed with them.

We were at Concourse this Sunday. I didn't even see Sticky Mickey on the menu. BUT, our breakfast was wonderful. The french toast was delicious, and just the right sized portion. The oatmeal we ordered for our little one was also very tasty. For the same cost as a counter-service breakfast at our resort, we had a fun relaxing breakfast where we could wave to the monorail. I'll take the Concourse for any breakfast, SM or not!

That's so disappointing! We were at the Concourse last May (2004) and shared our first Sticky Mickey and we loved it! It was all gooey and yummy, not like the one you described from Sunday...what a shame.

In all fairness, the actual breakfast was just fine. We all had the Magic Kingdom Express, and it came out fresh and hot and cooked perfectly. It was just that the Sticky Mickey was what we had been waiting four years for, so it really kind of put a damper on the rest of breakfast.
