Here we go again....What is the best character breakfast for you?

Well, we have done the Princess breakfast at Akershus (twice), Cindy's Breakfast at the Castle and 1900 Park Faire, but I would have to say my favorite one was the Garden Grill breakfast at The Land, with Farmer Mickey and Chip and Dale. Unfortunately they dont have breakfast there anymore, so the next favorite is the Princesses at Norway.

For princesses we like Akershus and for non-princess we like 'Ohana. I should add that I prefer plated meals to buffets so that impacts my faves.:goodvibes

We've never done one! This is our first time doing ANY character meals and we've got Chef Mickey, Donald at Tusker house, and Akershus planned. I'm so excited. More excited than the kids I think!

We have enjoyed Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. The kids DD15, DS12 loved the theme. :goofy:

My new favorite is Donald's Breakfast Safari at the Tusker House. We loved the theming and characters all dressed up in safari outfits. We did this on our last trip and loved it!

We also did the Princess Storybook BF at Norway and had a great time. The pictures being included in the price and being able to use 1TS credit makes this one the best value if using TS credits (which we usually never would do for a BF).

I really like Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Tusker House is good, too. I've never done Akershus or Ohana's for breakfast, so I don't know about those.

Ohana hands down.

We do want to try the new one at Tusker House in AK though.

We've only done Cape May and Chef Mickey's and I'll give Chef Mickey's the edge. I liked the food better; there were more options. It didn't hurt that we had a window seat with a lovely view of Bay Lake. I also liked that there was a nice sized, comfortable waiting area. I think the character interaction was excellent at both places. Disney is very good about making sure the characters stop at each table.

It is a toss up between CP and Chef Mickey's but I think CP wins.

CRYSTAL PALACE all the way!!! I love the breakfast and I love Winnie the Pooh and all of those characters pooh:

My favorite has always been 1900 Park Fare. Love the characters there and I love the selection of food that they have.

:banana:We have gone to Chef Mickeys twice and both times we were so happy we couldn't wait to go back. The buffet has more food options with a side area with cold cereal, fruit, rice crispy treats and gummies (yes gummy bears). Every character goes to every table, not once have they missed us. Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and sometimes a few others. Chef Mickeys all the way!

We love Tusker House Breakfast buffet. Great food selection (no lines to get the food b/c the way they set up the station), good coffee and GREAT character interaction (they have a musical parade with the characters and give the kids instruments). First time we and third time we went there the characters came to our table 2x. This is a must for the family ever trip (we are going to eat here our 5x time in Dec). We also like CRT, Cape May, Hollywood & Vine, CP (ate lunch here all the time) and 1900 Park Fare but TH is our favorite character breakfast meal

I had a trip in September and did Crystal Palace, Akershus, Donald's Safari Breakfast and Chef Mickey's.

Really, it should come down to your kids and what characters they like.

Unless you have a DD who LOVES princesses, I would highly recommend Akershus. But if not, I would steer you anywhere but there!

Overall, based on both food, character action and energy, I would definitely vote for either Donald's Safari of Chef Mickey's. :thumbsup2

It was Crystal Palace...you can't beat getting into Magic Kingdom without crowds!!! But we just got back and our new favorite is O'hana's!!! What agreat breakfast!! Good food and great character interaction!!! My boys LOVED IT! This will be a new must do for us!!:thumbsup2

Food wise - Akershus and O'hana were really quite delicious. We ate a lot of food at both of them.

In terms of interaction -- -- our vote would go to both of them as well. The princesses were great and Lilo and Stitch were a lot of fun.

We did not enjoy our time at the Crystal palace - we had to wait forever and then were skipped by the characters not once but twice.

We ate dinner inside the castle and right during dessert the fireworks went off (Amazing) and we loved Chef Mickeys/

We just got back yesterday from WDW and did 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace. All 3 were excellent. I think everybody liked Crystal Palace best, but it was at 8 am so it was neat to be in the park before everybody else! All 3 were great food & characters.
