We normally do a cheese pizza as DH is vegie and DS loves cheese. But all this talk of pepperoni and sausage is making me salivate for some meat. I might see if I can get a small pizza with some meat on it for me. popcorn::

I can hear noise in the kitchen. That must mean that DH is ready to finish work. I'll be back in an hour....after the twilight zone period.

We're big carnivores in my house, so we rarely get just cheese unless there's someone here as a guest who doesn't want whatever meat we normally get on a pizza. My parents like trying new toppings, but I just like pepperoni and sausage :lmao: I did try chicken on a pizza once and that was pretty good, though.

I'm still here. Turns out DH isn't quite ready; but DS and I are hungry. So, I rang and placed an order for pick up in 10 - 15 mins.
DS is getting gnocchi and will have some cheese pizza.
DH will have what is leftover of the cheese pizza.
I decided to go with cheese, anchovies and olives; and added hot salami! Can't wait!

Awesome! :) I'm just working on transferring all of my trip info into a notebook, since my folder's falling apart :guilty:

We also have a lot of gourmet pizza; and each pizzaria has their own specialties.....just reading off the list from my local pizza shop:
  • Spinach, ham, onions, peppers, eggplant, tomato
  • Cheese, spinach, tandoori chicken (spicy)
  • Bacon, sausage, tomato, spring onion, honey, BBQ sauce
  • spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomato, onions, zucchini, eggplant, olives
  • mozzarella cheese, blue vein cheese, parmesan cheese, fetta cheese
  • potato, spinach, sun dried tomato, olives, pesto, fetta, peppers

;)

:lmao: That sounds like some of the menus for pizza places that deliver around my work :) I just like simple pizza, though. I like veggies, but I don't want them on my pizza. :confused3

I've started a collection of print-outs. I'm planning on travelling light - so I'm not sure if I will take a notebook. I'll see.....

I like simple pizzas too.....but I do like to try different things all the time; so some of those gourmet ones have appealed from time to time. :rotfl:

It's just a small notebook about the size of a diary. I'll be posting pics of it once I'm done putting my stuff in it. I was going to bring something about this size to take notes on the trip anyway, so this just makes sense :)

And that's why pizza places have all kinds of different toppings :lmao: We just ordered from Pizza Hut, so it wasn't even anything special, but it sure was tasty :lmao:

OK, so I'm uploading stuff to photobucket now, once we get to the room tomorrow, I'll post some pics from the Oktoberfest and from our AMAZING dinner at Napa Rose which was waaaaaay more than I thought it would cost. If Andrew Sutton were there he would have given us a better deal, but it was his night off....note to self, go there on there on the night when the chef that knows you is working!

Yay for pics, but that sucks that it cost so much at Napa Rose! What kind of food do they serve there?

Fine dining at Napa Rose and $$$.....they switch their menus seasonally. I've never gone; tho' I'd love to. It's hard with kids.

Looking forward to the pictures.....

I've just been reading an Aussie TR from WDW.....they went to the water parks. It made me think that I should visit one of the water parks....someday. Have you ever gone?

I've been to one of them, but I don't remember which one it was (it was six years ago). I want to say it was Typhoon Lagoon, though. We have plans to go to one of them next year :) I remember having a good time at whichever water park I was at :lmao:

I'm pretty tired over here. I've been up since 5.30 am. My company hosts a Breakfast function on the Thursday morning before the Aussie Rule Football Grand Final day (on Saturday) and I've had to make coherent conversation before COFFEE this morning :scared1:.

So, I might log off now before the rest of the game board lights up....and then I feel like I might need to play some word games.

I'm thinking a nice cup of hot tea, get in bed and do some bedtime reading might be the order of the night.

Another big day tomorrow .... grand final parade will be hitting Melbourne at about midday. I'm hoping to go and take some pictures; and also boo and hiss at the players :rotfl:.

Take care and I'll catch you tomorrow.
