Here take my daughter! Go on a ride with her! Help?

Wow. Well. Okay.

Do not worry about your daughter being abducted. I sincerely thought I was the most uptight, coddling parent in the world. I still take my 8 year old to the bathroom when we are in public. I am not quite sure how an abductor would get past you waiting at the ride exit unless abductors have their own secret exits at WDW.

Everytime we rode 7DMT, my 8 year old had to ride with a stranger because it we my sister, me, DD5 & DD4. She wasn't thrilled, she didn't like riding with strangers. But it didn't stop her from wanting to ride again and again.

Seriously, do not think too much on fear mongers. Have a great trip!

You aren't by any chance going next week are you? I'm having similar worries about my 8 year going on rides I can't go on due to an injury.

There is great advice in this thread, I hope you are able to gain reassurance from the helpful DIS-ers.

Here is my then 8 year old all by herself at Dinosaur, we did the line with her, we (my son and I) chickened and she didn't! She rode Expedition Everest many times using SLR and also rode Splash mountain we did stand in line with her and if I'm not wrong they let 7years and up ride by themselves
