Unfortunate update: today's plans derailed just a titch because I'm gonna be going to centra care later for an ear infection. (I'm prone to them.) we have Ohana at 7:30 and then going to hop back to pop and call the shuttle.

I have a few questions for you. If you are able to look in the pop food court at breakfast, can you tell me what kind of cereal they have available? My son is super picky & only eats cereal or pop tart for breakfast. He loves mini wheats & fruit loops.

I'm a little worried about the weather. It says 60-70s next week but I know it will be cool at night. I think we may need our thick jackets for morning & night.

Also, What kind of issues did you have with ME? We will be using it for the first time. Thanks!

Oh no! Hope you feel better! We leave today. Hoping I packed enough warm clothes. Is it really windy?

It was breezy yesterday as cold fronts keep moving in and out. Right now it's 38 degrees so bundling up for RD is necessary. It should make it into the 60s later, but it's right back to the high of 54 tomorrow.

We've been advised that the chilly weather will be with us for a while, though it could make it up to 70 one afternoon next week. No big deal as long as you pack right and don't care about swimming or rides that get you wet.

Thanks for all the weather updates! We're arriving Jan. 31 and hoping for 70s! However, I plan on packing our thick coats, hats, gloves...just to be prepared! Take care!

In theory, yes, but still a good idea to bring the booklet with you. If we hadn't had ours, we'd have had to wait in line to get it all sorted bc our bands didn't work for ME.

In other updates, if anyone gets sick while here, Centra care can take a lot of time but it's a wonderful service. Still here but nearly ready to leave. Free shuttle to and from resorts or parks.

I am so sorry you are dealing with what I am dealing with. I got an ear infection on Monday and went to a local Concentra too. They are so great.

I hope you get to feeling better soon. We will be arriving next Saturday.

Sure hope you start feeling better after your visit the Centra Care. A few years back my dd suffered with the same problem; she is very prone to them even now at age 15. We were there for several hours but they were great with her; very gentle and caring. Free transportation was also provided to and from their facility! I do want to put this out there though. The pharmacist on premise would not take my insurance. I had to pay out of pocket for dd's meds and then put in a claim with my health insurance when I got home. Still no biggie but it was a little expensive.

Facts:

Centra care is expensive. Thank goodness for insurance.

You have to pay out of pocket for prescriptions.

The shuttle driver will arrange his bible carefully over the no tipping sign and keep fives and ones in the cup holder.

He will also tell one of the other ladies he's dropping off that he's dropping her off by the castle, just behind it.

He will actually drop her off back stage.

Hollywood studios is much more crowded than expected today. I suspect tour groups are the cause.

Rides and ear infections don't mix.

It seems every Disney lover has a trip where things just don't go right and this seems to be my trip. The cold weather, my ear and now my husband (who's back home) informs me my very beloved dog is a little more sick than we suspected and needs more testing.

It is time to turn this trip around! And if not, I'll be back in two weeks and hope for things to go smoother. Ay yi yi.

Sorry for the double post, not used to doing this on my phone. ;-) I am a almost 50 year old, that only eats cold cereal on vacation. So far at POP I have had Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes and Pops.

I am going to assume you are at some point going to HS. If you have a fastpass+ for Fantasmic, cancel it. We went 3 weeks ago and had one and it was a waste of a fastpass. Ended up sitting on the far end and walking in at the same time (in a different line) as all of the people that did not have one. It is worthless. On the bright side, everything else was great! Have a great time!

Only get it if you don't get there early. I couldn't get into F a few times as it was filled to capacity so if you really want to see it it's not useless.

There have been reports that even those with FP's for F! have been turned away if they don't get there early enough.

We have been here for 10 days the weather has been cool especially early mornings and nights the weatherman stated Orlando will have a colder than usual this January last year we were here at the same time with a15 days in the 80's this weeks temperatures range from 59 degrees tomorrow 71 on Sunday right now it's a chilly 51 not a 80 degree temperature in the 10 forecast

Did HS yesterday after we got back from centra care and it seemed a little crowded in spots, mostly due to large groups I think.

At Epcot today and it's pretty busy but not really too bad. Used fp for TT and living with the land. Also rode Journey, Ellen and watched Impressions de France. The longest line I waited in was Liberty tree which was packed. Still pretty chilly but not as bad as Thursday.


To date I have had zero issues with magic bands other than the two very minor things I mentioned before.
