Checked in to SSR on Wed. I have to stay, it is the most beautiful resort we have stayed at. We like peaceful and roomy and we are in a 2 bedroom at Congress Park overlooking the pool and DTD. Absolutely amazing.

Weather is MADE TO ORDER! Mid to hight 80's every day - calling for rain Tuesday and Floridians seem happy about this:confused3

Evenings are warm too - 70's and only goes down to 60 overnight. Pools are nice and warm.

Crowds yesterday at HS were heavier than I expected. Got there for rope drop and did our favourites and then left to swim but returned at 6pm to no fastpasses left and 60-90 minute waits on evertything! And shows all finish at 6pm.

So just walked around with a cold beer enjoying the sights.

I hope to bring back ther heat and sunshine with me next weekend!!

:wave2: Thanks for the wishes. We'll be there in a couple of days..:dance3:

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Glad to hear the weather is so nice! We'll be there tomorrow!!!:cool1:  :cool1:

Have a great trip!

Hey, it was PLUS 5 here in Ottawa today, it's climbing, and the sun was SHINING! I am SO now looking forward to the warmer weather! Definately bring it back with you!

Can you believe that Florida has not seen rain since March 1st and has had 9 days now of temperatures over 80! They are actually wanting it to rain and get cooler....THE NERVE!!! Not on my vacation!!!

Have fun - we'll be there soon! We want to stay in Congress Park too, love to walk to DTD. :goodvibes

FYI - heavier crowds than I have ever experienced for March! They say this week is the worst and then next week dies down and then will pick up in April. By noon, most big rides are 60-90 minute waits.

I think the entire state of Texas is here!! LOL. Saw the shuttle lift off last night from DTD - very cool. All of the river boats stopped dead in the water to watch it take off.

Still suoer hot today (86) but cooler for the rest of the week (79).

wow thats really cool that you got to see the shuttle take off. Was it easy to see?
I fell in love when I stayed at SSR last year, I love the grounds, how spread out it is and how QUIET it is there lol....its the perfect place after a long crazy day at the parks. I can't wait to get back there.

Have a great time!!!

I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!:lmao: :lmao:

Seriously, have fun, I wish I could trade places with you.

Thanks for the update, the only saving grace has been it's been warmer here in Toronto this week, but it's going to cool off towards the end. I hope you're right about the crowds dying off for next week, but I'm used to the big lineups in the summer. Enjoy the rest of your trip...I hope the weather and crowds cooperate.

The shuttle was amazingling easy to see. Of course you can't see the actual vehicle, but it glowed bright red for the first part of the launch and then it went white like a jet stream (but much bigger) until it dissappeared into the sky. No clouds and it was sunset to absolutely a perfect night to watch.

I'm glad it has been warmer in Ontario - hopefully we have seen the last opf the snow? Again, If I could pack these amazing sunrises and sunsets and bring them home I would. Literally 6 perfect days so far! And no major rain in sight at all!

We're down here too ... spent last week at POR and this week at a rented condo.

My kids (8 & 6) LOVED POR. The ability to pool hop was great (Ol Man Island got closed one afternoon due to "unscheduled maintenance  " so we just walked over to the quiet pool near our building.

BTW ... we stayed in AB14 - mousekeeping was great, location to everything onsite was perfect.

Weather has been much warmer than the last March trip we had - NOT COMPLAINING.
