Holy cow. Hoards of screaming cheerleaders this week. Loud, and many of them. Top of their lungs screaming on rides. Just so obnoxious. Now I get why people on the WDW board complain about Brazilian tour groups. Totally get it now.

We had a similar experience with the jr high cheer competition! The annoying part (for me) was that there was never just 1-2... and the fake screams just made me bonkers.

(I'll avoid making the comments I wanted to about their attire--Daisy Dukes! At 12!)

We had that same experience in 2009! A whole car of them on the Monorail. I thought I would never hear again. (We were the only 'outsiders' on the trip in from DTD.) And "Aladdin" was canceled in favor of the competition! That made me angry. Although it POURED down rain that trip so a lot of them left in the evening. I love Disneyland in the rain!

(And I agree with the poster who commented on the attire. I was just glad it was a parents-only trip and my teenage boys were at home!)

Wonder* if my half-sister was one of them. She was there last year! (but she is a sweet, lovely, and quiet girl, who was dressed in a nice blouse and pair of pants, while her friends were wearing the tiny clothes)
