On a cell so it will be like a kid talking...

It is HOT HOT HOT..... Like soaking hot. We go in the morning, leave for a nap, go back around 6:30.

Not having any famous ecv or stroller issues.

It is crowded, but we are using tour mike and able to do everything we want.

Staying at pop... We hate it.

All of the CMs, with the exception of very few, are absolutely wonderful.... Even amongst all the rude guests heat and crowds.

Each time we come, the guests are more and more rude. We have had some real jaw dropping moments. There are 7 in our group and several of us have been literally been slammed into by unapologetic guests. We had an 8/10 year old boy attempt to take food from our tray at the condiment counter and when We asked him to remove his hands from our tray his dad had a fit saying we didn't need to be so direct. Are you freaking kidding me???????

Much of the princess shoe ornaments in the park shops have pieces broken from them. Surprised to see this.

Another new experience for us..... Almost every counter restaurant we have dined in has been DIRTY!! And I mean filthy.

Hasn't rained much. Very very humid.

The parks have been having limited time magic and are staying open later each night. That has been awesome.

Dad got upset because you told his kid not to take your food off your own tray? :rotfl: Priceless comedy at WDW.

Just wanted to comment on POP. We went for my 8 year old's first trip in February, Presidents day week, and loved it. However it was just him and me and if my husband and stepson would have been able to go the rooms would have been too small for all of us. But overall we had fun and my son absolutely loved it. Loved the pools and games and parties in the afternoon. I felt like the atmosphere was top notch for kids and I enjoyed myself as well. The only cons IMO: small and somewhat uncomfortable beds and small rooms, and the bus stop always being the very last one at each park. However, we had nothing but excellent service. Never waited more than 15-20 mins which is what I expected going into the vacation. We are contemplating the next trip since it will be all 4 of us to get 2 connecting rooms just so that we can spread out a little. The price can't be beat and it is a really fun resort IMO.

I am glad you enjoyed it. We want to, but it is not happening. We have been here since last Sunday and have not had a decent nights sleep. The movies outside are so loud, the beds are very uncomfortable, you can hear water running in the other rooms, 68 on the thermostat is really 77 until about 4 AM, the bathroom smells and the vanity area is so small. We usually stay deluxe. I really wanted to stay here and like it, we just don't. :(

Or a dad being protective of his special needs son.

Sorry but she didn't cross the line special needs or not. Just because someone has special needs doesn't mean you ignore bad behavior.

Thanks for the mini-trip report. So glad I decided against the PoP. I need quiet in a hotel room.

The thermostat is preset to go up at a certain degree. If you ask the front desk they can override it for you. We did that last June as we are all asthmatics and have to have it a little colder at night.

Special needs or not doesn't give anybody exception to put their hands in a strangers food. If you know your child has a special condition and needs to be watched, then watch them.

Thank you so much for letting me know. We are here for 4 more days, so I will call now. :)

Hmm. I ask bc we'll be at POP for 3 nights next month--have also booked a preferred room. Do you have a pool view?

I can see how its not for everyone. POP was our first and only time onsite. The other visits we stayed offsite so I didn't really have anything else to compare it to. I would love to stay in the deluxes and I am sure it would make POP pale in comparison but not sure if we will ever be able to swing it though. Hope you are having a good time though despite the issues with your room.

If it were my special needs child (just being hypothetical here), I'd say, "I'm SO sorry." Not try to reprimand the innocent guest instead of my own child? I mean... just wow. Special needs or not!

Just wanted to chime in on the Pop discussion. We are another family who need QUIET on vacation. My husband and daughter are very light sleepers. We had a great experience on the lake side of the hotel (facing AoA). It was very quiet there. It will give you a (slightly) longer walk to the bus stops and food court, but at least they had the energy for it after getting a good night's sleep. And it's also a nice view from the room, better than pool view in my opinion. :thumbsup2
