Here now...need quick help

We had planned kona cafe for dinner tonight from mk. We ended hopping to epcot . My son is feeling ill and we are headed back to our condo before dinner. Can I.park at kona? Or Will I need to park at ttc and take monorail to kona?

Yes you can park at the Polynesian parking lot, tell the parking attendant your dinner plans upon entry.

We went Monday night. Our res was at 8 and we rushed back from Epcot. Got to our room at the poly and rinsed off and dashed to kona to make our reservation time....only to stand and wait for our table for about 35 mins. Was pretty frustrating and food was good but I'm not sure it was worth the cost and wait. Server was very nice but everything was slow. Hope your son is feeling better.

I guess you can ask...I'm not sure! We too had planned to go to mk after but with our 8 pm reserv, no appetizer or dessert we didn't leave til almost 10:30.

You can leave your car there after dinner-- moving to the TTC is too much trouble for sure. I wouldn't/you shouldn't leave your car there all day, but I think it's fine for a bit after dinner. Ask the guard when you pull in to park, but it's usually allowed for several hours around your reservation. Enjoy!

Poly parking is for Poly resort guests. If you want to park from 5 ish to close you should either move to the TTC after dinner, or valet park when you arrive. The Poly lot has signs saying it is for resort guests. It is not large enough for MK guests to park at. It is totally unfair for guests paying the nightly rate to stay there to return at night and be unable to find a parking spot is their own resort lot.

No, you can't leave your car there unless you pay for valet. When you pull in, you can ask, but the policy is that you can park for three hours while remaining on the premises.

Note that the Poly is walking distance to the TTC, so you can park there and walk to Kona.

Parking restrictions are most frequently enforced at the Contemporary and Bay Lake, where there are reports of cars being towed.

You can definitely park at the Polynesian Resort, just tell security that you have a reservation at Kona and they'll let you through.
