Here now- luau question

We have the luau booked tonight with general seating. It says to arrive at 5:05, as preferred seating is sat at 5 and general at 5:10. Does a line build up? Should we get there earlier to get a better spot? Or is it already assigned seating?

Yes, the line gets very long. You'll want to get there early if you don't want to wait in a long line. The seating is probably already determined, though.

We had preferred seating and arrive at 4:55pm for 5:00pm seating. We were finally seated at about 5:25, so we waited about 30 minutes. The general seating line looked very long at that time.
