Hi! We arrived this morning at 10am. Our room wasn't ready so we took the boat to Downtown Disney, did some shopping and went to Wolfgang Puck express for lunch. I had the salmon. My sister had the chicken. DH and DD had the bacon wrapped meatloaf. Everyone LOVED their meals. Desserts were creme brûlée, cheesecake and chocolate chip cookie. Also delicious with the cheesecake being the winner.

We shopped some more and went back to get our rooms. I faxed in a request several days ago for building 5, and we were lucky enough to get two rooms in that section. We are so happy with the rooms. This is our second time at POFQ and we love it.

My sister needed a rest after a busy work week, so she stayed at the hotel and the rest of us made our way to Epcot. We rode Spaceship Earth and the Land...both walk ons. Then we used our FP+ for Soarin. It was maybe a ten minute wait. We saw the most beautiful sunset as we walked over to Tutto Italia for our 6pm reservation. We had never eaten here, and it was a little annoyed because we only booked it at the request of my sister and she didn't even come with us. Well, I now have to thank her. We all really enjoyed our meals. Our group had the fettuccine vecchia Roma, spaghetti with pomodora sauce, salmon and the risotto with seafood. Everything was delicious. Desserts were cannolis, tiramisu and raspberry sorbetti. Again...all great desserts, but everyone agrees the cannoli is the way to go.

We walked around Epcot for a bit, came back to the hotel and the two kids (11 and 12) went swimming. We are going to sleep soon as we are all exhausted. We only got two hours of sleep last night so I think we will all sleep well. Our plan is to make rope drop at MK tomorrow.

We had a pretty easy day today and can't wait to ramp it up tomorrow!!!

We are loving the Magic Bands. My daughter has been "paying" for everything with hers, and thinks it's the coolest thing ever. We only used one FP+ today, but it worked great.

I love WDW and I am in heaven. All the CMs have been wonderful, the busses have been quick, crowds are LOW and the weather is great!

It was a great first day. Can't wait for day two!!!

I'm getting ready to pack. We leave Sunday. What are people (kids) wearing? Shorts and t-shirts or long pants and t-shirts? Thanks!!

Most people are in shorts and t-shirts. You might need a light sweater for evening. I would pack for everything, though. On our last November trip we ended up having to buy hats and mitts while we were here. All the stores just had them on the counters for sale because they didn't have enough displayed yet. Apparently the week before and after our trip were shorts and t-shirt weather.

I'm so excited for you! Have a great time!!!

Thanks for getting back to me!!! :)

Hi,

We had an amazing morning at MK. We made RD and did a number of rides with no wait at all...Pirates, Jungle Cruise, big Thunder Railroad x 3, Space Mountain and Buzz.

We ate lunch at BOG. The line was looong, but probably only about a 15-20 minute wait.

My DD got the steak sandwich and loved it. DH got the tuna Niçoise salad (Trying to be a bit healthy before our Ohana dinner). He thought it was good, but wasn't blown away. He and I both had the French onion soup and it was delicious. I also had the quinoa salad. It was good. My DN has a dairy allergy and doesn't eat meat. She was told her only option was the quinoa salad or the French onion soup minus the cheese. She ordered the quinoa salad but hated it. They didn't have a dessert option for her at all..not even fruit which really surprised me. So, my DN watched us while we ate our cupcakes. My DD and I had the strawberry cupcake and DH had the lemon. I thought it was delicious while they thought they were just ok. I really enjoyed my meal. It was nice to eat a healthy quick service meal in the MK. I don't think the rest of my family really agrees. ;).

We just got back to POFQ. We dropped DN off with her mom. (My sis). Later tonight we have an Ohana res, then we are missing sis and DN at Epcot. I'll let you know how it goes!

We had a dinner reservation at Ohana tonight. I know this place gets such mixed reviews, but it is a must for every trip for us, and tonight was probably the best it has been.

My DH loves the shrimp. At one point he joked that I should take some shrimp on my plate and then give it to him because he was embarrassed. Lol. My DD and I love the salad and noodles. They changed the salad since the last time we were there and we all preferred this one. I didn't eat any meat, but DH said the chicken and steak were really good. The dessert was amazing. My DD doesn't like it. (Perfect!). So, I asked DH to take what he wanted, and I poured the tiniest amount of whatever that heavenly sauce is...then I smothered my portion with it. I didn't want DH to have too much after all those shrimp...I did it for him. ;)

Then we met My sister and DN at Epcot. They had dinner at Les Chefs. DN had the salmon...said it was the best salmon ever. DS had the lobster bisque and roast chicken. She also really enjoyed her meal.

My sister said that she was in the UK and began a conversation with a CM. He ended up giving her a piece of paper, but she had no idea what it was. She was so excited and knew it must be very special. My Disney-newbie sister told me a he gave her "a fastpass for fast trek". She didn't end up riding Test Track, but she is so pleased with her piece of paper.

So, we met up in Japan and we four girls each picked a pearl. We all basically got the same white pearl. Two 7mm ones and two 7.25mm ones. It was fun. (Even though I picked the hairiest ugly pearl hoping for twins).

My DS hasn't been feeling great, so we walked past the countries and went on mission space then back to our hotel. She didn't have it in her to do anything else.

Tomorrow we are back at Epcot in the morning and we have a Kona dinner reservation.
