Here now...Crowds are crazy!

Here now and crowds are not bad at all.

MK was absolutely dead today...walked on everything all day long. We met characters, shows, parades, attractions and fireworks. As someone said earlier, the weather mostly kept people away, but I would disagree that crowds started to pick up later in afternoon as weather improved (although it was very chilly today), as we still walked on rides, and crowds for parade and fireworks were totally fine.

We have logged many park days, as we are DVC members, and we can only go during peak season as I'm a teacher, and thus far since we arrived Saturday, crowds aren't too bad at all. We have waited Stand By for major rides, and our longest wait was 20 mins for Soarin and Under the Sea.

Nothing like March in 2010 which was the busiest ever!!

That's good to hear, Tiger! I think every school in Alabama had spring break during the same week in 2010. I'm expecting the worst, crowd-wise, hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Due to an increase in the number of Live Report and Just Back threads, the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Moderator Team has decided to start moving these over to our trip report forum. The purpose of the theme parks attractions and strategies board is to help people find valuable information to plan their trips, discuss the attractions, and changes that are happening at Disney World.

Live trip reports, and just back threads are really a better fit for our trip report board. You can find the trip report forum here:

http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18

We know that everyone loves to talk about their trips, and we do love to hear about everyone's trips. So, please share your trip stories, and read about other trip stories over on our trip report forum. Danny

So what timeframe is considered "Spring Break"?

Some of the SB anf FP return times in this thread are nuts!

The six weeks or so starting about the second week of March.

March 11 was a red day at MK according to EasyWDW

MK was not that bad on Monday, March 11.

As I have said in multiple threads, the wait times are all off this week.
