We are here now and my BFF and her family is joining us. Her daughter has CP and will be using her wheelchair. Last time they visited WDW was two years ago. I have read about the changes and have a few questions.

In the past, they were issued a disability card, and my friend said they just walked up to the accessible entrance and were let on the next available car. From what I understand, this will not be the case this time, correct?

They will get the DAS card. Are there any rides at any parks where they will not be allowed to use it?

What else should I know? Are there any current glitches in the system? I want to make park touring as easy as possible during this very busy time.

The wheelchair user will normally not be given a DAS card, unless she has other needs not met by using the wheelchair. The wheelchair already alerts the CMs of her mobility need. The DAS card is just a communication tool, not a pass into attractions.
