It's been a long time since we've seen the princesses at Fantasy Faire, I think it's called the Royal Hall. What's the best time to go for a short(er) line? How bad does the line get? I know it used to be LONG.

The lines at the new Fantasy Faire are nothing like they used to be in the old location. We were there in July and in the afternoon waited less than 10 minutes. Just pop by when you are in the area and check the line. The only thing to watch out for is that you do not want to get there right after the show in the theatre near it gets out. A lot of people go directly from the show to the Princess line.

I would second the recommendation to avoid getting there right after the Royal Theater lets out, but other than that the lines haven't seemed super long. Luckily a lot of the queue is shaded, so it's not so bad in the afternoon. The line for the outside princess (often Rapunzel or Merida, alternating) isn't as well shaded. Still, I would probably opt to go earlier in the day rather than later, but that's just because the kids I was with were usually more energetic in the morning.

Last November, we went to the last Tangled show of the day, then waited for Flynn and Rapunzel in the theater. After that, we walked in to see the princesses and there was NO ONE. I guess we were the luckiest people ever that day. It was really cool not waiting and not feeling pressured to leave.

It might have been that by the time you finished meeting Flynn and Rapunzel, the majority of the crowd had dissipated. The show characters didn't come out immediately after the show; there was often a lag of 5 to 15 minutes to clear out the majority of the theater. Then add in the time waiting to see the characters and I could see where there was enough time for the line at the Royal Hall to shorten. I haven't seen any recent reports, but I thought that originally Anna & Elsa were not meeting guests after the show in the theater.

In summer 2014 we walked into the hall shortly after opening and there was no one there but us. However, this spring we went at opening and they had already posted the wait at 30 minutes, we actually waited more than 40, it was a MM day and the Hall does not open until regular opening. The CM told us the line is shorter midday.

Thank you everyone! We will just check it out after we get some early rides done. I just wanted to make sure we wouldn't be hitting a 1 hour line. If the lines long we'll circle around later. Was here yesterday and crowds were pretty good
