Here now...at BCV

We will be at the BCV in March for the Flower & Garden Festival! Hopefully renovations done by then, if not, I will keep everyone posted as to conditions and any info I get!

We are checking into BCV the Saturday after Thanksgiving. When I made this reservation at the 11 month mark I was fairly confident that we would be getting a freshly refurbished room. At this point I am pretty confident this will not be happening. I'm not going to let this affect our vacation, after all the location is the big attraction but it is disappointing.

Back when they started refurbing SSR we were staying in the building to the right of the one they were working on in Congress Park. Every day we would see all the old curtains, beds, furniture, carpet, etc coming out and see the new stuff going in.....all while we were still in the old décor. It was frustrating to say the least. With our timing I expect to experience the same frustration in December. We also checked out of SSR the very day they opened the VGF rooms at the Preview Center.

Wouldn't DVC have to have a firm schedule for the refurb since rooms are taken out of service? I remember when they redid BWV, they took half of one floor at a time, could have been 50 rooms.

We will be staying at BCV for 4 nights. We will be there in early Nov 2014! I love the BC resort, its one of my favorites! The pool and location can't be beat! I know it has some wear and tear but I am still in love with the place!!! I do hope it gets some attention

Same here, we stayed there for the first time this past June and it shot to number one on our resort list (over Kidani). We love the place. SAB is so much fun, We didn't notice any extraordinary amount of wear and tear in our room or the common areas. Staying there again next year!
