Here now and Oh My Gosh!!

Where are the crowds?! I can't believe how perfect it is here right now!! 70 degrees, bright sun, and NO CROWDS!!!

Yesterday we were at HS and had it could not have been more enjoyable! Ofcourse TSM is immune to low crowds, but we got right on with our fast pass+. And OMG!! The Osborne Lights!!! That alone was worth our whole trip!
We just now got back from Epcot and the place felt empty! It's a short nap and then off to dinner at the LTT and MVMCP If it's low crowds for THAT I think I will have to double check what planet we are on!!

I will try to send some pictures later of the parks to show the crowd level. Oh, and the Fast Pass +s are a MIRACLE! They have allowed us to get extra sleep in the morning which is wonderful!!

Usually, the week before Christmas is a slow week. People are gearing up for the big day. Congrats for choosing this week. The first week of December, our personal favorite was busier than I had ever seen it before. (The last 4 years).

Not that I'd deliberately plan a trip this close to Christmas, but it sounds delightful -- especially up here when it snowed 3 times in one week and today's high is to be 32.

Glad you're having a great trip. I'm not surprised that FP+ works great with "NO CROWDS." I hope it's also effective during the crushing throng that's right around the corner. Now that I'm getting my last kid out of the house, I plan to schedule our visits during historically low crowd times. Hopefully, we won't even need FP during those times (as some have reported) and then FP+ will just be a little extra insurance for one of the headliners.

We just got back this morning and it was amazing for us too. We only had two days at Disney this trip, but we were able to do everything we wanted to do.

Sunday night 12-15-13, was the slowest night at DHS and tonight at MK and MVMCP, too. The first two weeks in December were the busiest in 13 years and seem to catch many crowd calculators unanticipating the attendance. My humble thought is that after many years of no vacations because of the economy that everyone wanted to vacation

TBH...this seems to be a recurring theme for all of us that have visited the World in 2013..."Where are the crowds?".

We were absolutely amazed when we visited on July 13-21 and the only time it was REMOTELY crowded were a couple of times at the MK.

Great for *us*...horrible for Disney.

I agree with you. But believe me when I say that you missed the highest crowd levels in over a decade based on my yearly experience from Monday, December 2, 2013 through Saturday, December 14, 2013. The parks were packed. MVMCP party sold out almost every night scheduled. Resort looked full at night based on window lights alone at the Swan and Dolphin.

But I have had a wonderful time and just went with the flow. The Swan resort is just wonderful and relaxing.

I think you will be in the clear(as far as crowds).

There doesn't seem to be 'crowds" at WDW anymore. Yes, Fast pass gets depleted because of double-dipping but there won't be a whole lot of people actually *in* the parks or resorts.

Have you been to the parks lately? Next week will be historically packed and all this fall, except for September, folks have been complaining about how crowed the parks were. We were shoulder to shoulder the third week of October.
