Here NOW and ... and WOW crowds!

We were at Epcot today and the wait for Figment was 20 minutes at noon, nemo and friends was 40 and Soarin 80.. the land boat ride was 35. I know it is the last day of the flower festival but it's really crowded!

Last night at Magic Kingdom it was horrible crowded as well. We only went in for the Fireworks and parade at 6:00 and people were already lining the streets for the 9:00 parade. We watched from Peocs Bill in Adventureland.

The park closed at 11:00... Wishes was at 10:00 and we decided to wait and exit at 10:45 before the 11:00 Spectro and we had to wait almost an hour for the Ferry boat to get to our van.

I sure hope tomorrow gets better around here! We are waking up early and going into the Magic Kingdom. Rope drop for the whole week! :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

YIKES! Rope drop is the way to go.

With lines like that it almost (ALMOST) takes the fun away. Almost...

We go gung-ho at ropedrop grabbing fast passes, riding, using fastpasses... exausted by noon.... but we get to see everything we want to see.

By the way, I LOVE your avatar ;)

Where are you getting the "Parks to Avoid" information? Who uses red, yellow, and green levels for the parks?

I have our days lined out for November, and it isn't supposed to be too crowded. But, we hit the last weekend of f&w, so that will be packed, but we want to try it, so we'll go for a bit and the atmosphere with no expectations.

I basically had to pick parks based on EMH, showings of Spectro/Wishes (with MVMCP it isn't showing a lot), and Fantasmic! We have PH and plan to do mornings somewhere, break in the mid-day, and then go somewhere in the evening, maybe just for the parade, Illuminations, Fantasmic, etc. Does this sound like a good basic plan for first-timers (and some returners, but not since the 80's!)?:confused3
Tour Guide Mike uses those colors to help you choose which parks to go to on which days! Worth every penny! Use the banner link above to save $3...so I think it;s around $20 then!:goodvibes

Yeah, I'm here now and am stunned by the crowds. I was here for the last weekend of the F&G festival last year, and I swear that was nothing compared to this year. Last night the single rider line for Test Track was posted as being a 40 min wait at 7pm. I was shocked. Friday night I gave up on Epcot, could barely walk through there. Went to MK and that was much better. I spent this morning at MK, and I wanted to see Illuminations tonight, but I think I'm going to pass on that and hang out at the hotel. Granted, the storm probably helped clear people out, but I'm not going to test it out.

We alos were there over this past weekend (we usually go at the end of F&G but the end this year is two weeks earlier).
One thing we did notice is that there was a lot of kids groups - school field trips, school grad trips, even scout trips (could tell they were groups because they were wearing shirts that stated the trip and traveled around together).

We took a very impromptu trip to Epcot on Friday afternoon. It was crowded, but not to the point of not being able to move crowded. I heard from a friend that it was so bad yesterday, glad we decided to go friday. Hope you are having a great time!

Wow.. hoping for good weather, and lower crowds starting Saturday!!!

We were at EPCOT Sat. and it was very crowded. We went Sat. because Epcot was the recommended park, but crowd level was predicted to be a 7. Fast passed our way through the rides in the am, but by the afternoon Soarin' was 100 min standby and Test Track 90 min. Test Track did still have fast pass available late in the day, Soarin' was out by around 12:30. My theory is that there were a TON of FL residents there, like myself, trying to use up their FL Res. Dream passes that will expire 5/25. I expect this coming weekend to be a ZOO at the parks because of this, especially HS because of Star Wars, but I will be there Sat. anyways! :)

 I was pumped to see some 4's during our upcoming trip (arrive Saturday). We have NEVER had a wait for Figment!!!

Today went really well, We did everything in Fantasyland by 10:00!!! Rope drop still works at Magic Kingdom.. :) After the past few days I told my DH I wouldn't be surprised if Fantasyland was packed by 10:00. :) Thank goodness that was not the case. We usually do not go to MK on Monday and it's an EMH night Spectro and Wishes and Yellow rating... but with all of this considered we thought we would be ok until noon and we were.

It's raining here now we are hoping to go back into Epcot for dinner tonight for a few hours. Next up tomorrow at AK.. Green rating and no EMH conflicts. :)

We were there all of last week. The first few days were great, but as the week went on, the parks got more and more crowded. I didn't know what was going on!

Yep! We were there all last week too. DHS on Monday night, TSM had a 40 min wait. Tuesday at MK the longest wait I saw was 30 mins at space mtn. We rode splash mtn twice in 23 mins and a total of 4 times that day. Thursday at epcot was a 30 min wait for soarin, and I noticed the crowds increasing. By Friday at AK there was an 80 min wait for Kali and the people seemed to be everywhere. We only used fastpass for one ride all week and that was for soarin. The weather was great and the crowds weren't as bad as they are when we go in January. We are now going to try to visit during the first or second week of May. Only one thing down for rehab and was finally warm enough to enjoy TL :cool1:

We were there Saturday and Sunday..... a couple of things contributing to the HUGE crowds, Ironman 1/2 Marathon, last weekend of Flower and Garden, and last weekend for the Florida residents 4 day for $99 promotion.... traffic was all messed up due to some road construction delays in front of the TTC and Poly and the roads closed for the Marathon... it was the worst we have ever seen even during the Holidays. It was CRAZY!!!
