Here now- ? About Magic morning hours

hi everyone- lined up at CA adventure. Today was extra magic hours and Magic morning hours at Disneyland. Lines to get in were Long (in my opinion- no experience with this). My question is- is it best to avoid Disneyland when it has Magic mornings and Magic hours? We were planning on redeeming our Magic morning on Thursday but think we may head to CA adventure instead depending on replies. Thanks in advance. Ps- we are used to extra Magic hours at Magic Kingdom and usually have no issue.

It is very busy during Magic Mornings, but since Disneyland will open before DCA if I were up early enough to go to MM at DL, I'd do that and then head to DCA when it opens. Of course, that won't work if you don't have park hoppers. If you don't have hoppers, I'd still go with early entry because the earliest hours of DL are the best hours to get stuff done.

We do have hoppers- so you are thinking do Disneyland from 7-8 then boogie over to DCA?

I'd go over about 30 minutes after park opening because I don't like to stand in lines. I'd rather ride another ride in DL and then just walk into DCA, but that's just personal preference. The entry lines are normally very long at both parks when they first open.

The MM's don't tend to affect the MM park all day as much as DW MM's, but they do affect that park in the morning. You probably already know this, but arrive for MM 30 minutes ahead of time to take full advantage of your MM. Would totally agree on waiting at least 30 minutes until after regular opening before heading to DCA. But keep your options open ... it may not get really busy until later than that, so if you're enjoying yourself at DL you might stay there.
